Chafik honed his culinary skills in esteemed kitchens, working under Todd English in Boston, at the 3 Michelin Star Lucas Carton in Paris, and with Gary Danko in San Francisco. He would later find success and receive accolades with his own restaurant in Los Altos before contributing his expertise to renowned hotels and resorts. His extensive experience and passion for teaching brings a wonderfully inspiring element to our kitchen.
General Manager
Mike holds a degree in Hospitality and boasts extensive experience in restaurant leadership. His career includes significant roles with Hilton Hotels and as General Manager of Restaurants at Omni La Costa Resort and Spa.
As the owner-operator of his own successful restaurant in San Diego, he honed his skills in both management and entrepreneurial endeavors. He has now reunited with Patrick, bringing his wealth of experience and passion for service to our team.
Chef John's culinary journey began in vibrant hotel kitchens, where his father's work ignited his passion for cooking. With over 25 years of experience, he has earned international acclaim, including the "Best Fine Dining Restaurant" award from the Singapore Ministry of Tourism while serving as Executive Chef at Raffles International, and the title of "Best New Chef of the Year" by Gault Maillau at Fairmont Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Germany. He has also delighted diners at the acclaimed Auberge Dab in Bangkok and held leadership roles at The Inn at Rancho Santa Fe and Omni La Costa Resort & Spa. Grateful for his global experiences, Chef John is excited to share his passion with this community.
Patrick gained comprehensive experience working every facet of a restaurant, from the kitchen line to managing prominent steakhouses. His work in opening multiple restaurants, including Bob's Steak and Chop House, known for its premium steaks and exceptional service, showcased his talent for creating remarkable dining experiences. At Omni La Costa Resort & Spa, he revitalized the resort's multiple dining experience with innovative dining concepts and worked closely with the award-winning Omni design team during the property's extensive renovation, contributing to a fresh and classic vision. Patrick continues to channels his passion at Rosewood Social, committed to delivering memorable dining experiences through innovative cuisine, outstanding service, and genuine hospitality.
